Recently, fans of girl group MADEIN held a truck protest in front of 143 Entertainment’s headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul. Through the protest, fans demanded, “143 Entertainment must not stay silent and should resolve the situation promptly. As the agency, they must take responsibility for the members’ future.”
They further urged the agency to investigate and disclose the truth thoroughly and not protect the perpetrator.
Prior to the protest, on November 29, 143 Entertainment announced that member Gaeun would be leaving the group. The agency explained that despite Gaeun’s efforts since their debut in September, personal circumstances made it difficult for her to continue group activities.
Previously, Gaeun had temporarily halted her activities due to health issues.
With her departure, the group has shifted to a six-member lineup. According to the agency, Maydin will proceed with their scheduled activities as planned.

Meanwhile, the CEO of 143 Entertainment has come under fire for alleged sexual misconduct involving the former member Gaeun. Broadcast reports claim the CEO forced physical contact despite the member’s clear refusal.
On the other hand, MADEIN, a 7-member girl group that debuted in September, includes former Kep1er members Kang Yeseo and Mashiro.
